An innovative, integrative, interdisciplinary college housed within the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, New Century College (NCC) offers the benefits of a small, liberal arts college while providing access to the academic resources of a large public research university.

 

NCC is committed to integrating interdisciplinary knowledge with lifelong learning by offering experiential, hands-on learning that connects the classroom to the world. The NCC community encourages students to engage in active learning, independent inquiry, and research that responds to the needs and opportunities of a diverse society while preparing them for responsible leadership and citizenship.

Rainforest Conservation Fund
 

The Rainforest Conservation Fund (RCF) is an all-volunteer non-profit organization (501(c)(3)) that is dedicated to preserving the world's tropical forests. RCF's mission is to ensure the future of tropical rainforests through practical solutions and with respectful commitment to local people. RCF was established in 1988 and has partnered on projects in Maijuna lands in the northeastern Peruvian Amazon since 2008.

We are dedicated to helping individuals and organizations thrive in a world of complexity and uncertainty.

Social Action and Integrative Learning (SAIL) is an evolving community of George Mason University students, faculty, administrators, alumni, and community partners who are active and passionate collaborators in effecting positive social change. SAIL fosters integrative, innovative, and experiential learning opportunities on campus, regionally, and globally that educate and activate towards a more equitable, just, nonviolent, and sustainable world. 

Dave Huh, Professional Photographer and Filmmaker
 

Dave Huh is a photographer and filmmaker and has worked on commercial, editorial and documentary projects. He has worked extensively in the creative industries and has won several awards. Other than commercial work, he is very interested in humanitarian projects. There are remarkable and challenging stories that need to be seen and heard but there is no easy access to them. Therefore, he wants to help tell these stories for our community and beyond.
